Verge gardening is not as simple as it looks. The Shady Lanes website, this Substack and the books are designed to help you avoid the pitfalls, and then go on to gain the greatest impact and scale from your group projects and collaborations.
I’m adding a new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section to the website with the questions I am often asked about verge gardening and Shady Lanes. These are questions that group project leaders will face - and most start with Why should, Why don’t, and Why not. They include questions about council policies, plant choice, starting a group.
